Janis

Janis is a cuddly smart and affectionate little lady. She has a lovely facial expression and a smooth soft tan-coloured short coat. She is a medium sized girl. She is very calm. She walks very well on the lead, doesn’t pull at all, stops when you stop and pays attention to the person walking her. She has a low level of energy; she doesn’t need much exercise. She just wants a home with a family willing to let her take many naps on their laps! She would rather be the only dog at home and get all the attention for herself; she tolerates other dogs but prefers to be the only dog. She can be around other dogs for sure, but she doesn’t care much about socializing with her peers. She’s house-trained. She hasn’t been tested with cats so we don’t know if she’s compatible or not. Poor Janis lives at a pound where she was taken a couple of years ago, after her family abandoned her, and she longs for a new mum and dad. Her Best Points : She’s very affectionate, she’s not shy or wary with people at all. She’s great with people, friendly and obedient. If old enough they will have been neutered, if too young the new owners will need to ensure this is done. All dogs are microchipped All new owners can apply for 4 weeks Pet Insurance FREE, to be activated from the link on our website For Rescue Dogs coming from overseas This adoption fee is a contribution towards the costs of rescuing the dog including – microchip, pet passport, vaccines, tests for South European diseases, neutering (IF OLD ENOUGH), parasite treatment and transport to the UK. We can not home dogs from overseas to people who work full time or long hours, unless some sort of doggy day care is offered. They need someone at home a lot of the day, they are not used to being alone for long periods. A dog walker for an hour out of the day is not enough. Leaving dogs a long time on their own means they are highly likely to develop separation anxiety which is distressing for them and everyone in their new home.
